“ Very authentic hand made dumplings. You can literally see guys hand making their dumplings there, and you can also well feel it from the taste. But to appreciate the taste of it, I think Kimchi dumpling is just not a right choice because the strong sauce overpowers and somewhat screws the dumpling taste. Btw as a korean, I could barely tasted kimchi from the dumpling. So not really kimchi dumpling, just spicy sauced dumpling. But def coming back again for its plain dumpling. ”

“ One of the best dumplings I’ve had! Get the BOILED signature for the real deal. 7 including an egg drop soup. The fried signature was good too but I feel it’s more for westerners’ taste. Con: be prepared to wait! They make things fresh so it’ll take longer than you expect. Worth the wait though ”

“ This branch of Samwaigo is in the Mott Street Eatery so the atmosphere is more 'Chinatown Food Court' but the dumplings are really delicious. Sometimes they can take a few minutes, so keep that in mind - I think the longest I've had to wait for an order is 20 minutes. My favorites are the pork and chive and the chicken and I usually get them pan fried but there is also the option of boiled. ”
